Defined by Grace (reasoning for my name)

The beauty of grace is incredible and I will always and forever be in debt the the Giver of that grace, I rightly owe Him every portion of who I am… and here is why…

“The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.” Romans 6: 10-14

We are no longer defined by a set of rules or laws, that magnify our imperfections. We are now defined by grace. If we look back in chapter 5 of romans we see that “… just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” Christ’s righteousness broke the reign of death, and a new era emerged, an era that is not longer defined by our righteousness which lead to death, but now by grace through Christ’s righteousness. Our whole life and what should be our reason for living is based off of grace. Therefore grace defines us, it gives us our purpose and our worth, if we remove grace we remove who we are because, by that grace, we were boughten and given a significant identity. Actually we where given Christ’s identity, a perfect identity, the only identity that is worthy to stand before our God.

I hope that kind of gives you an idea to why I choose my name :)
